Scooby-Doo Mystery Gang Limited Edition Cel Scooby-Doo Mystery Gang Limited Edition Cel

This hand painted, limited edition framed cel is signed by legendary animation producer Joe Barbera, of the famed animation studio Hanna-Barbera. A 'model sheet' is a group of character drawings illustrating different poses and expressions of a cartoon character. Because a number of artists work on a single cartoon, these sheets are circulated to the animators to give a uniform look and feel to a character throughout a production. The 'Mystery Gang Model Sheet' includes Fred, Velma Scooby-Doo, Shaggy, and Daphne, and was inspired by the hit TV series, 'Scooby-Doo Where Are You.' It began with a master inking from the animation, which was then silk-screened onto an acetate sheet or 'cel' along with a seal of authenticity. Each cel was then expertly hand painted on the reverse side. The model sheet drawings were adapted from original character drawings, and attention was paid in the printing to capture the delicate line quality. The edition number was hand inked on each cel. Upon completion of the edition, the master inking and original background drawings were archived. Finally, each print is hand signed by legendary animation writer and producer, Joe Barbera. Edition Size: 250. Release Date: March 25, 2003. The piece measures 22 inches by 19 inches framed and comes with a black wood frame, off-white top mat, lilac bottom mat and plexi-glass. Available in strictly limited quantities!

Scooby-Doo and Shaggy Signed One of a Kind Production Cel Scooby-Doo and Shaggy Signed One of a Kind Production Cel

ONLY ONE PIECE AVAILABLE! This unique one-of-a-kind framed animation cel from 'Scooby-Doo and the Witch's Ghost' is signed by two giants of animation -- Bill Hanna and Joe Barbera -- and is a must have for the Scooby-Doo cartoon fan and collector. Animation is the art of bringing to life single drawings to create the illusion of character drama and movement. The original animator's drawing is transferred onto an acetate cel, and the cel is then flipped over and individually hand-painted on the reverse side. This unique cel is from one of the most beloved Scooby-Doo cartoons, featuring Billy Ray Cyrus and 'The Hex Girls' performing the Scooby-Doo theme song. This piece measures approximately 18 inches by 16 inches framed and comes with a black wood frame, white top mat, bottom mat rag to match, acid free foam core backing and plexi-glass.
